Welcome to the June issue of MyAtari. At the time of writing, I am
currently in the process of working out what bits 'n' pieces I will be taking
to the forthcoming JagFest UK event. The list is already extremely long... so
long, in fact, that I'm not sure that we have a vehicle big enough to fit it all
in!
JagFest UK 2004 is once again being staged at the Medway Manor
Hotel, Rochester UK where attendees will be able to play a whole host of
Jaguar games, enter tournaments and competitions, meet the teams behind MyAtari,
Maggie/Alive! and Nexus magazines as well as chat with other
like-minded Atari fanatics. Cool eh!
This year, JagFest UK will
feature dedicated Jaguar, Atari computer and 8-bit areas as well as a
Commodore Scene side show making it bigger and better than ever before. The
event has been once again organized by Nick Harlow of 16/32 Systems who will be demonstrating
and selling Papyrus X as well as lots of
other cool Atari hardware and software.
So what are you waiting for?
Book your ticket today! A two-day (unlimited) entry ticket only costs £20
(includes snacks and drinks for game tournies at night and early morning for
those that can last that long!) while a single day entry ticket (10:00 -
18:00) costs just £5.
If you're able to visit JagFest this year please come
and say hello to us as we are always keen to meet our readers. For those not
able to make it, check out our report from JagFest UK 2004 in the
July issue.

Heavy
metal time This CT60 special issue has been
on my mind since March 2001, when we published
a translation of st-computer's Rodolphe
Czuba interview (well, actually, the interview
was conducted in English, so it was the Germans
who got the translation!), but there simply hasn't
been enough substance to create it until now. We're already
witnessing the arrival of the second batch,
following the initial 150 that were all pre-sold.
Good times indeed for Falcon users!
As I look at
the date now, the reality of how close we are
to JagFest is starting to sink in. I'm immediately
dismissing any thoughts of even trying to begin
any new hardware based projects to take along
with us, because if it's not ready now, I don't
want to mess it up by rushing at the last minute! We'd better get
cracking with preparations.
