The PSU in the current machine is a Mitsumi. I was just wondering if it matters what make/type goes back into the ST.

But regardless, just ordered a PSU and Video Recap kit...

Hmmmmm. Well it seems that issue with the L51 has gone away. Disassembled the ST and went looking for the issue. It's fine! Yay... I have 3 functioning Atari STs now, ...but I will probably buy a replacement power supply for it just in case. It's a Mitsumi... Are the ones you have all interchangeabl...

oh, btw - I couldn't get on with Supercars. Lotus III and Jaguar XJ220 on the Amiga floats my boat :)
