Re: kodak80 H5 A3 builds
I have put aside the A3 board for now and started to build my three B1 boards up. Okay, 3 years later and I have finally got back to looking at why this H5 A3 board was not booting. Turns out the fix on the reset IC22 was soldered to the GND pin 1 and not pin 2  https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/f...

Re: Smonson's untitled simple harddisk project
Nice board and great work to get it to this stage. It always feels good to get things finished.
Looking forward to the open-source release and getting to build it when you are done.

Re: MegaSTE repair
I've been dabbling with this on and off in between (a lot of) other projects and narrowed all the issues down. A mate gave me a few bits and bobs from his Atari horde last year. Amongst them were some MegaSTE spares. I happened upon a post from Frank where mentions cache issues. I replaced U3 and U...

Re: The resurrection of atari-wiki.com
Good to see this back and running again and I appreciate the effort it took to get it back. I am also not getting the confirmation email to fully activate my account. I clicked several times to get the email from the preferences area but my mail server does not show any attempt for an inbound email ...

Re: New (old!) user from Australia
Hi there and thanks for letting me in. I started out with micro's in 1970 acquiring a 32K Commodore PET and that was when the bug bit - hard! That PET helped me realise that one didn't necessarily need to be artistic to be creative - BASIC was such an eye opener for me it was absolutely wonderful t...

Re: kodak80 blog
So, I was wondering about using Bluetooth for outputting audio from an ST. So, I created an adapter for the YM2149 chip which split the 3 analogue audio channels into stereo and then fed this into a Bluetooth emitter... YM2149 Bluetooth adapter.jpg An hey presto, I now have the audio outputting on v...

Re: C070523-001 Rev.C TOS upgrade please help
The adapter looks like a Realtime clock adapter and would only be needed if you want the clock to keep running when the computer is turned off. You would need the software to update the date/time into/from it as well. As noted, TOS 2.06 boots differently and without additional hardware modifications...

Re: kodak80's DSTB1 Build
Okay, here we go with my build progress... First up had to wait a bit longer for my OSHPark order as they missed the silkscreen on the first AfterDark run. New PCBs with silk screen arrived today. So I have 2 sets of PCBs now, some without silkscreen and some with. Will build one with silkscreen fi...
