I spent time removing TOS 1.6 ROM chips from an STE which were solder to the board directly. Now waiting on the new IC sockets to arrive and solder in. Fixed a Roland D-5 Synthersizer keyboard which I was given. Just needed a capacitor replacing to fix the sound output. Now need to find time to lear...

Whilst I do not have an UltraSatan(US) (a friend has one), the schematics show that it also has a 20 pin IDC connector and a micro USB for power. From what I have and the schematic on the US, all have the same 20 pin IDC connector. Not sure if that was an answer to my post or not. But yes, all have...

Can I ask why the internal header has more pins? My SatanDisk and MicroCosmos both only have 20 pin IDC connectors and an external power connector. I am unsure how I would connect these to this header?

Spent time today unsoldering the jumpers and re-fitting the Blitter on board 1 so I now have the Blitter chip working on board 1 as well now. :D

Looks like the faulty YM2149 chip was also the cause for the black screen when I enabled the Blitter chip.

The STV8438CV chip does seem to be very hard to find with Google and non-existent on Mouser.
