I wanted to ask.. could the design be easily modified so instead of a internal ribbon design we go with external DB25s - both for the ASCI and SCSI - the db 25 for ASCI gets cut - like in other projects finding a db19 is very diffic...

Good to know about the GAL, because I don't think Exxos has it. Anyone know about the TOS-swap ?
