Re: ICD AdSCSI Micro interface remake progress

Thanks. The bluescsi works. I have used it straight up on my TT np. I have to figure out how to get my Tori remake ADSCSI micro working. I have checked and checked my schematic, my soldering, everything seems fine. ICD 6.5.5 does have HDparts.tos and host.tos . I did get it to find the host at one p...

Re: ICD AdSCSI Micro interface remake progress

SO I am uploading it. Schematic_icd_micro_ext.sch_2024-03-29.pdf If anyone has the time and interest, I would appreciate if you look at it, see if I missed any of the signal wires. Toriman's website has his .SCH that I worked form. attached here. (icd_micro.sch) My Gerbers attached. Finally if anyo...

Re: ICD AdSCSI Micro interface remake progress

So I have a bluescsi v2 to test with. The log.txt from the bluescsi seems good. I use the megaSTE config, and I have a 2gb (just under) file that was divided into 4 partitions. The file loads on Hatari as an .img file. I boot HDD driver off of floppy it sees nothing. as you can imagine nothing from ...

Re: ICD AdSCSI Micro interface remake progress

So that everyone who uses this Forum and not Atari Forum knows. Toriman got back and said the 555 circuit was not needed if the device was not being used internally on the MegaST (It was a delay reset circuit) SO.. I now have an even smaller more compact interface board. See Toriman site for all his...

Re: ICD AdSCSI Micro interface remake progress

Ok, so I did it myself. In EasyEDA - which is actually really easy to use, but it does then not allow me to export the .SCH file. SO I am uploading it. Schematic_icd_micro_ext.sch_2024-03-29.pdf If anyone has the time and interest, I would appreciate if you look at it, see if I missed any of the sig...

Re: ICD AdSCSI Micro interface remake progress

Ok, so this is the device I found after being in the other thread. I wanted to ask.. could the design be easily modified so instead of a internal ribbon design we go with external DB25s - both for the ASCI and SCSI - the db 25 for ASCI gets cut - like in other projects finding a db19 is very diffic...

Re: ICD AdSCSI Micro interface remake progress

LOL. There are a ton of storage options these days, I'm amazed by the reverse engineering and development of new kit these days. Engineering teams struggled to match what blokes in their garages are knocking out today. All very much appreciated too. BTW, that ACSI2STM could be reengineered to suppo...

I had a post here, but I am redirecting it to the other thread of the micro remake project.
