Re: ICD AdSCSI Micro interface remake progress

Ok, so this is the device I found after being in the other thread. I wanted to ask.. could the design be easily modified so instead of a internal ribbon design we go with external DB25s - both for the ASCI and SCSI - the db 25 for ASCI gets cut - like in other projects finding a db19 is very diffic...

Re: ICD AdSCSI Micro interface remake progress

LOL. There are a ton of storage options these days, I'm amazed by the reverse engineering and development of new kit these days. Engineering teams struggled to match what blokes in their garages are knocking out today. All very much appreciated too. BTW, that ACSI2STM could be reengineered to suppo...

Re: The resurrection of atari-wiki.com

I missed this during the summer, so I wanted to say thanks so much to exxos, Icky and any and all that are involved in this.

I for one have missed this site a ton, and I think its really important to have a central resource that will survive and thrive.

Thanks.

Re: Simple upgrades for a Mega-STE

Good to know about the GAL, because I don't think Exxos has it. Anyone know about the TOS-swap ? I'm hoping it's just remove-the-old and replace-with-the-new, but blowing up the machine before I ever got to use it doesn't really appeal - I'd rather look stupid and ask than be stupid and .... boom! ...

Re: Bikerbob's H5 C1 build

Just thought I would post here and let those interested know. I am planning a PIstorm board for the H5 I know one has already been successfully done, so its a do-able build. I am using my PAK stuff in a MegaST4 . Built a new FRAK/2 and that will begin testing soon. Been a very busy non atari summer....

Re: 2.2 Booster in MegaST4

Yep. Remove the H5 CPU and ROM. Plug the booster into a 5V slot. Set the booster to TOS206. Connect the 16MHz wire direct to the shifter pin 39 on the H5. The BG wire (which you currently have soldered to the blitter pad) needs fitting to a different 5V port on pin 11. That should be all you need t...
