Re: Case for VGA adapter (low cost version)

Think mine came from a cock up batch ;-) If only I had known you'd easily change design and had FDD face etc... been scouring everywhere for those. Kinda gave up and decided to put Gotek in machine and use a 3D filler plate for that

Re: Case for VGA adapter (low cost version)

Sad to say the adapter I received didn't work with the case design.. it seems Mr Exxos decided to swap the jumpers from back to front. I guess I can add that to the pile of things for my friend to be asked to solder for me (I'd probably kill it!) Got the case 3D printed via CraftCloud in white...

Re: Recapping floppy drives

Which version do you have? C103558-00x. X=a number which I know there are at least three versions of. 001 and 002 seems to be the same PCB and 003 is refined with less caps. 002... dont suppose with your clear knowledge you know where I can find a manual/service/schematic with values of caps etc al...

Re: Simple ST2VGA adapter

In almost all cases these bands are caused merely by incorrect monitor settings. Try the "auto" setting button. If that doesn't work, try adjusting the setting that might be called "clock" or "pitch" : http://www.techmind.org/lcd/phasexplan.html Thanks, thats the sort ...

Re: Simple ST2VGA adapter

Thanks, I bought it and it arrived (quickly, thanks!) Havent dug out my 15kHz monitor yet but plugged VGA into monitor. I got vertical bars which I have seen before on STs. I am pretty sure its NOT the adapter but there is some fix (as Ive had it before years ago). Can you suggest fixes please? 2021...
