Re: Recording Audio from the Atari STFM's sound chip.

https://www.ebay.ph/itm/Tweety-Sound-Board-for-Atari-ST-computer-/161490283997 No longer for sale. I actually saw one recently on ebay, so they do appear! Good luck, experimenting is good :P . It can all become a bit obsessive if not careful, and burn a bit of a hole in your pocket, however the wor...

Re: Recording Audio from the Atari STFM's sound chip.

It is possible, I bought one of these new, arguably where stereo mods really get their inspiration from: http://www.computinghistory.org.uk/det/30773/Tweety-Board/ Currently I simply use my monitor cable which has a 3.5mm out. There are various options with this route, Google search: https://www.go...

Re: Recording Audio from the Atari STFM's sound chip.

I'm wondering if it's possible to have a stereo out from the Atari STFM without using the ROM port? I want to compose with the chip using maxYMiser. Re: STFM Booster 2.3 + Dual TOS Kit, TOS 2.06 Issue

I have issues but with the 2.2 booster. I was hoping to stifle such upgrade issues, but it came back from E-Key Solutions not booting, still trying to go through the motions of diagnosing myself. I am hoping my original STFM motherboard can be saved, but to date I really don't understand why in my i...

Re: Retro-Hifi

I kind of share that too. I still have my 90s set up and was thinking of selling it, but decided not to as I like the sound, so there is no point. It's a mixture of Japanese and British, with a 90s Technics SUA900 MKII amp, British Arcam Alpha 6 CD player, Alpha 5 Plus tuner, and Mission 751s, which...

Re: Post something people born after year 2000 wont understand

'In my humble opinion', and in fact any sentence that now has become a ridiculous text speak acronym. Sentences are not acronyms! Now that is a sign of me getting older! I remember seeing this 80s nostalgia poster years ago, the article kind of reminded me of this, it is really well written, b...

Re: Atari 520STFM YM2149 sounds on a Sunday.

That's pretty interesting, I have the Xoxbox this guy is using fo his squelchy sounds, which is sitting on top of his ST, and he has nicked my trackball. Looks like he is just triggering YM sounds via the tracker (which I cannot make out) using the controller keyboard?
