Those took a while!

Also found if I have all the cooling fans running, its very easy to get the ABS off the bed once its finished printing.

Re: STE V1.5 32MHz BOOSTER - STATUS

https://www.exxoshost.co.uk/atari/last/storenew/#0147 3 in stock currently.. will be more later (when the 3D printing has finished) . I'm classing them as a BETA board due to recent chaos Worst case is I will have to start knocking them out with a 32MHz OSC.. but will see how the 36MHz ones hold out...

Re: STE V1.5 32MHz BOOSTER - STATUS

 Yes, plug in stuff isn't great, but as people were breaking their STE trying to remove the old socket.. its the lesser of the 2 evils..

Yeah, pin alignment took 3 or 4 or 5 PCB attempts to get it right :( Probably mentioned it "somewhere" in the tread..

Re: STE V1.5 PLUG IN 36MHz BOOSTER (production board)

TROUBLE SHOOTING. First of all. GB6 should be run for several hours minimum to prove stability. As mentioned previously in my main development threads, hardware tolerances are huge contributing factors for things going wrong. Unfortunately I cannot develop the booster which may work "out-of-the-box...

Re: STE V1.5 32MHz BOOSTER - STATUS

This is the first one which will be heading to my store.. 36MHz WS ON. I will leave it on for a couple of hours then onto the next one for testing...

Re: STE V1.5 32MHz BOOSTER - STATUS

I think what you've done is really good. Lots of time and effort on what is a very old CPU. And by the sounds you've found the maximum that we're going to achieve. Maybe it's time to stop, sell and move on to the SEC and others, new challenge, new problems, dare I say it, new fun? :D Yes.. This wil...

That's the first picture...
ah ok...

have you measured the power rails on each chip to see if anything spiky there ?

Also, hold down the reset button (it will stop the machine from running) so that would be interesting to test...
