Pls value of The 5v pullup resistor?
Not really important, any value like 1K, 4K7, 10K, 22K will be fine.

Do you know any chip options that are not too expensive if one wanted to produce 16 MB 30 pin SIMMs?
Sorry no, never needed to look into it. I have enough trouble getting the chips for the 1MB boards and they are not exactly cheap.

Re: NEW 30 PIN 1MB SIMM PRODUCTION 2ND BATCH

I've ran out of purple PCB's now. The ones in stock are the last purple boards to be made. The 2019 batch will be blue, simply as purple is not a option for the new PCB supplier. The blue boards are otherwise identical to the purple boards. Though if anyone wants a purple simm set, then grab one bef...

Yeah, would have prefered a cat, but can't have it all I guess.

Caroline is building up the falcon RAM boards for me this week :)

Re: Project: HDMI/DVI out for STFM

The scope is just to load pins.. You could (and probably better) use a small pF cap, something like 47pF on a fly lead with one end soldered to 0V. Then just go over each pin on the shifter one by one, and see if the video improves (becomes more stable when the 47pF is on any particular pin). The sc...

Re: ST-IDE-ROM Dev Board v1 - BETA Testers

The good news is the ATF chips come.. the bad news is they were ordered before the latest firmware changes, so the firmware no longer fits in a ATF1504 :( I've been trying to compile it in a 1504 and it just won't do it :(. The code isn't that complex even, so its mad it won't compile. So I will hav...

Re: Project: HDMI/DVI out for STFM

Agreed! By the way, I didn't necessarily mean a problem with your power supply, but maybe the power supply just to the mod board - it draws a lot of current through just one pin each of the shifter socket, 5v and GND, which is generally not a great idea electrically, but very convenient... Do you h...
