Re: Royal mail getting rid of CN22 now it seems

Here are several reasons why including the town or city in addition to the postcode is important when shipping parcels overseas: Reduces Misdeliveries: Including the town or city along with the postcode helps ensure that the parcel is delivered to the correct location. Postcodes can cover a wide are...

Re: Royal mail getting rid of CN22 now it seems

90% of overseas orders are missing information off their address. We have been having to lookup the proper address every time ourselves in order to ship the order. We are not doing that any longer, sorry! People should learn how to write their address properly and not depend on me to constantly fix ...

Re: Royal mail getting rid of CN22 now it seems

What has caused a little bit of confusion just, is that postcodes are now a requirement. I know I had this is optional in the store because half of Ireland did not have postcodes. But according to this article since 2015 they do.. https://www.irishmirror.ie/news/irish-news/eircode-irelands-new-postc...

Re: Mitsumi SR98 issue after recap (no boot)

You would have to consult your meter manual what 1 means. Generally it's "open circuit" on most meters.

But if that resistor is blown then the main switching transistor could well have failed.

Re: 12V needed for ST?

Off the top of my head.. 12V on the ST/F/M just goes to the RGB port. Either used for scart switching or to power the ST2VGA adapter. Aside from really old floppy drives which use 12V. 12V on the STE is used for the audio. Though I don't think it needs 12V to boot. Ironically I think I powered up a ...

Re: Mitsumi cap kit question

Your last image, on the right. Its the part closest to the PSU connector which goes to the motherboard. The low voltage side.

Also please see this post on how to correctly upload images to the forum thanks.
