Re: 12V needed for ST?
Off the top of my head.. 12V on the ST/F/M just goes to the RGB port. Either used for scart switching or to power the ST2VGA adapter. Aside from really old floppy drives which use 12V. 12V on the STE is used for the audio. Though I don't think it needs 12V to boot. Ironically I think I powered up a ...

Re: Mitsumi cap kit question
Your last image, on the right. Its the part closest to the PSU connector which goes to the motherboard. The low voltage side.
Also please see this post on how to correctly upload images to the forum thanks.

Re: Mitsumi SR98 issue after recap (no boot)
It's a 8.2 ohm fusible resistor. You need to test on something like 200ohm resistance scale on your meter to test it properly.

Re: Royal mail getting rid of CN22 now it seems
So I went into post office just and seems you have to fill the information out online. Put the barcode or number on the box, AND still do the CN22. So basically what they used to type in at the post office, we doing that job now

Re: Royal mail getting rid of CN22 now it seems
Th CN22 form isn't bad when shipping outside of the UK. But it's confusing shipping to the UK as I think under £135 value the UK government expect the sellers to collect tax. So I don't blame them in not bothering now. For companies like AliExpress it's good as it's quicker in not having to deal wit...

Re: Dummy load resistors
Thank you, Also wondering when getting around to using them can I just solder wire to the legs to make longer for testing the psu as they seem rather short compared to the tutorial I found on youtube? Not sure what video that is, I don't recall ever doing a video. But the resistors I used to a coup...

Re: Dummy load resistors
ah crap yes sorry they are supposed to be different. The 5V would give you about 230mA , so would still be enough for testing. But I will check the store stock I have and what's in my stock here and see what I've done wrong this time let me get back to you on that one.

Re: Royal mail getting rid of CN22 now it seems
Yeah it will be fine, just fill out the CN22 label as they will still be available but it will take a little longer at the post office counter as they will have to input the CN22 details electronically for you , so it now more of a time thing, I'm not so sure about that though.. 432983801_161162322...

Re: Royal mail getting rid of CN22 now it seems
I have still been using the CN22 when sending post to the EU and just let the Post office person fill the electronic part out when I do the payment, never had a problem or am I missing something bud ? We sent packages yesterday just fine, but the post office guy said today about it. But the guy is ...
