Re: My fight against Outlook.com email blocking

I am still battling this in the background about Microsoft rejecting emails from my server... The thing is, my server IP address changed a few months ago with the server upgrade but the new IP address also seems to be blocked by Microsoft  1.PNG 2.PNG 3.PNG  I found this page which is a...

Re: Atari SC1435 different HOT/PSreg

I haven't touched monitor for over 20 years now, but if I remember rightly, the main switching transistor will likely measure short-circuit because it is across the coils of the flyback transformer anyway. But considering you have a high-pitched whine, I would suspect that it is actually switching. ...

Re: Dead psu where to start diagnosing?

Oh cool I see what is the benefit to hdd over something like a floppy emulator? Not something I can personally answer. I don't use a floppy emulator. Comparing a hard drive to a floppy emulator is really down to personal preference and usage. It's one of those things like trying to compare petrol a...

Re: Dead psu where to start diagnosing?

Ah thankyou, wished I saw that before placing my order earlier. I am new to it all so documentation is a big thing for me to learn. I see the user manual is still in draft mode for that one. I take it the device replaces the floppy drive? It plugs into the Hard drive port on the back of the ST. You...

:bravo: :2k2:

I'm not sure how accurate the scores are when you start to get below 1 second test times. There's only the 200hz timer tick per second to count against.

Be interesting to see the first test with caches turned off (no NVDI) .

Re: Dead psu where to start diagnosing?

https://bbansolutions.co.uk/ is a hard drive I can recommend. Atari world seems a bit flooded with all sorts of drives lately though. But I can vouch for bban as I did a lot of testing personally. It's one of the cheapest as well.

Re: PiStorm Chat

Thanks, I guess just a couple a small stick on things will probably do then. I can keep an eye on temperatures when it's running and worry about it another time.

Re: PiStorm Chat

I don't use a fan, however, my Pi stands vertically. There aren't many of us using PiStorm to be fair, and every setup seems to be different, meaning there is no defacto setup. That be first problem, Really I need to rule out any thermal type problems. Seems there are things like this. https://www....
