MONO SWITCH

What this basically does is switch the RGB digital shifter outputs with the shifter MONO output via a multiplexer chips. Basically a simple "UBE Switch". The selection between the 2 will be done via a jumper. I have no idea if this could be controlled via software or not ultimately. I guess if a PLD...

DMA HEADER REV H1

Added the internal DMA header.. As to if Atari's pin numbering matches the numbering in my schematic is another matter! Will try and verify on a real MEGA ST later to make sure it the pinout matches. I've also noticed a typo, that FDCS on the DMA port should have been HDCS! So I have updated the nam...

Re: FACLON - NO BOOT - RED screen

Not much you can do easily than change the RAM card & TOS. You would then need some deep investigation into scoping out the address and databuses to see what activity there is. Check /AS & RESET on the CPU to see if its even trying to do anything. Check power rails to all chips. Check clock lines (h...

Re: POWER CONNECTORS

Yes, its the red one. And yes the transformer gets barely warm to the touch but that's it.. Yeah 1-2amps load the transformer remains pretty cool. Through 3-4amps the temp goes up, can actually hit like 70c. Technically the transformer is twice the VA it needs to be, but I did that because I didn't...

Re: POWER CONNECTORS

Ah. That’s actually a good point exxos. If there was a DMA header port then there may not be a need for the extra power sockets. My usage of a power connector extension currently is for powering the floppy and a gigafile. So the header would cover it. I will add more power headers, no harm. I'm thi...
