About to order parts, this looks like 1/4 Watt resistors would go in the composite sync circuit does anyone know if this is correct?
All standard resistors yes.

I thought that was normal on the Blitter, bigger question for me, I know nothing about Mega STs, are the roms the same?
There is 6 chips and 2 chips TOS, All "ST" ranges have one or the other, generally TOS 1.00, 1.02, 1.04. They are all the same.

Re: Which 1040 STF is this?

Its only a simple transistor buffer type circuit which merges V & H.

NOTE that is from a "ST" so part numbers are likely different on your board, but the circuit will be the same.

Re: exxos IDE interface (untested)

Not to change the subject but do you still have any plans for the rev H Exxos atari board which you ask for interested parties in dec/jan. It was a respin of the current board with fixes, connector alignment, and some minor upgrades before you moved on to the new major upgrade board.. just querious...

Re: exxos IDE interface (untested)

This is just a prototype, it's not a production board. We are a long way off that yet. We will need to do another couple of revisions as well. We have not even finished finalising the firmware , or even tested various cards, this is pretty much only the start of the project.

Re: Rev C070859-001 Rev2.0 Australia 1989

Hmm, I hadn't noticed that the V2.3 booster mentions TOS 2.06 ...., so I expect it should be possible to run this booster with TOS 2.06 too, but exxos can confirm :) It will work with TOS1.00, 1.02,1.04, 1.62,2.06 etc but Generally TOS104 & TOS206 are the best ones overall.. It could actually have ...

Re: Rev C070859-001 Rev2.0 Australia 1989

I might order the v2.3 accelerator and the 1.02/1.04 2 chip rom board [0131] to suit now. I am puzzled about the 1.04/2.06 bios option [0050]. Does the v2.3 accelerator which is conditional for this hack permit 2.06 on an stfm. I know complex hacks permit this but understand this bios was primarily...

Too bad you are in the UK, would snag one for sure! How do I get an STE sent in one of those white 520STFM boxes to the states ;)
Very deep pockets.
