Re: V2.5 BOOSTER CURRENT PROTOTYPE STATUS

On the new 68020 V3 board we use a clock distribution chip, the NB3N551. This might help cleanup the clock and then feed it to your PLL ? Possible, though looking for schmitt inputs to be sure, probably 8 inverters.. 2 on input (act as delay buffer) and 3 on output for inversion + delay.. But I thi...

Re: V2.5 BOOSTER CURRENT PROTOTYPE STATUS

I've gone back to the V2.2 booster for PLL testing.. So far passing though the PLL (driven from 8mhz) results in 16mhz output inverted  So I can the 8MHz though a inverter before the PLL.. but oddly both 16MHz were still out of sync (180deg out of phase). (ignore the ringing) p1.png So I tried...

What would be really surprising is if someone could activate blitter in TOS 1.00

TOS1.00 vs TOS1.04

Thought it would be interesting to see the speed of TOS 1.00 over TOS 1.04... A little surprising really...

STFM 8/16MHz CPU & ROM & BLITTER (V1.5 booster)

Benchmarks from the V1.5 BOOSTER.

Note blitter still runs at stock 8MHz.

Re: dev-docs mirror & php issues

My mirror was great help to many as the original site kept going offline. Sure it has a new host now but why does this mean my copy should be done away with as that is what you are suggesting. Plus as I already said, I link to a lot of files on my mirror and removing the site will create more work. ...

Wouldn't 'wget -m' be a useful tool instead of PHP (*ick*)?
Maybe... but I still need some method to check the files on the main site vs my mirror to get the "file list" to download... reminds me I need to check the cron job is working :)

Re: Midex+ Schematics and modification

oh wow! I got asked to reverse engineer that a few times, I basically said no as would take a lot of time, and GAL's unlikely to be readable by programmer..

How did you come across all that info ??
