Re: BOOSTER 2.2 REVISITED

Very nice Exxos, no issues with having a separate rom card. Under this configuration though will it be possible to have the decoding needed for 2.06? The 206 decoding is done in 2 of the 3 GAL's on the booster board. It will need 1 wire to go to the new ROM board (will design a new one) to bypass t...

BOOSTER 2.2 REVISITED

After a long battle with this booster, I gave up with it about a year ago. All variations of the 2.X series I abandoned.. Though I had some time tonight, so I have been trying some routing variations with no luck. Issue is as before, 6 layer pcbs = huge costs. Setup charges for 2 layer is <£10, 4 la...

Re: PaulJ Progress

The store appears to be getting a little depleted.. there's new people coming along all the time so you should keep some of the old available until something new comes along.. Yeah, I wrote volumes on all this already, basically I'm just taking on way too much work all the time and just simply cann...

I have some of the 1.5 boosters and they work good but don't a thing for moving to 2.06.. Sorry I missed this post.... Yeah, I'm going to try and see if I can resur...

Would be interesting to know how all the boards out there are doing.
Other than what people have posted here, no idea. Troed is building his, but he cannot seem to sit still at the moment, so progress is slow there.. Not really sure who else is building one up currently.

Re: Mongrel edition motherboard thoughts

I also wondered if the Altera FPGAs would be useful for other tasks ;-) There has been some brief discussions about adding more features into the FPGA.. Ultimately the GLUE,MMU,BLITTER should hopefully be all integrated into one FPGA.. at least for the STF project. Meanwhile, a lot of the ramblers ...
