Re: Mega ST video output oddity

:( So either the loading on the cartridge is snubbing some noise on the bus, or maybe the cartridge has a capacitor on the power rail is solving the problem.. I don't really know what else unless there is a bad connection on the video lead / socket or something..

Re: V1.5 booster & Blitterpatch

Those older RAM upgrades with the long cables are normally iffy at the best of times, you probably have a bad connection somewhere on that, nothing to do with the to patch, likely just coincidence. In all honesty, you might be better getting a STE... MEGA's are not very stable at the best of times. ...

Ok then. Shall I order via the shop, or do You pack that all together with the resistor arrays and the Fast tos german. And tell me the final price.
Give me a few days to create the roms, then just order form my store, will send resistors free.

Re: V1.5 booster & Blitterpatch

I would apriciate if you can sell me the correct resistor arrays as well. I see a problem occuring with the buffer board. This is installed in the shifter socket.....and I have a 4MB ram expansion installed there. Can this mounted together, as a sandwich ? :?: You should be able to plug the buffer ...

Re: V1.5 booster & Blitterpatch

I tried that out and the Mega ST runs fine without the blitter-patch. :bravo: thanks for letting us know! I do need to order the booster 1.5 and the fast rom kit as well. You need the fast ROM kit. But in the moment there is no german dual tos chip in the shop. Is this available again soon? They sh...

Re: V2.5 BOOSTER CURRENT PROTOTYPE STATUS

Finally some more or less sensible benchmarks running at 16Mhz. First test was more failsafe firmware... t1.jpg We can see the CPU is running at 16MHz due to the int-div being 189%. Next up is 20 MHz with tighter timings.... t2.jpg We can see the jump in integer division to 231%.. However, the ROM s...

Re: Are Bypass Capacitors REALLY needed?

I don't watch all the vids, but he does tend to waffle on fair bit. Though probably better for more beginners, I'm just sat saying "get to the point" mostly, Though I am more of a facts with bullet points person, says me,
