Re: exxos blog - random goings on
derkom yeah I saw the keyboard shortcuts.. I've only used it for like 5mins so not done much of anything yet. But can you just get it to stay in the same mode without having to press D on the tracks you want to move ? If you have to do it every track then its actually creating a lot of work

Re: exxos blog - random goings on
I have for some time wondered why you hadn't made the jump. I had tried it previously some years ago and it was pretty terrible.. But as I have been using Eagle for like 30 years is not so easy just to jump to another program. You may like to look at how to use the external Freerouting program if y...

Re: exxos blog - random goings on
After looking at some kicad videos I thought I would give it another try... Amazingly it imported the H5 and at a glance it looks correct, we did moan about one of the Tstop layers being unsupported but that is not a huge issue.. One of his features seems to centralise the view when you zoom in and ...

Re: Large Ultrasonic cleaners
I use a small ultrasonic cleaner for little projects and to be honest I'm never too impressed with its ability to remove flux. Perhaps I need to do more than 15mins. I'm also just using a little washing-up liquid rather than proper detergent lol :) You need proper cleaning stuff.. I do 30mins at 60...

Re: Large Ultrasonic cleaners
A quick look on eBay and you can get a transducer and a driver for about £45. If you can translate that into a large home made device that is a lot cheaper. Definitely needs more research. Maybe.. but even my small tank as 2 transducers I think.. I don't know, but maybe there is a rule of thumb of ...

AFAIK transducers are just piezo things where you just feed them from a frequency gen like a 555 or whatever. I assume the China ones have the low frequency buzz as they dont smooth the DC rail and adds a bit more vibration to the mix.
