@rubber_jonnie I think they had dropped it with the USB plug in and it landed right onto it. It did have the screws too but obviously that didn't help. I still have it and guess I should get round to putting a 5V power supply plug on it at some point :D True. Doesn't it need USB C to charge properl...

I had a switch given to me to repair which had a faulty USB socket. It turned out they'd been that rough with it that it broke all the USB tracks off the board.

What sort of PCBs are they Phil? Are they some sort of PS/2 keyboard that fits the C64/C cases?
