Re: ST-IDE-ROM Dev Board v1 - BETA Testers

kodak80 , have tried all those boot images except the patched 1.04. I ran 1.04 just to test it with HD driver but didn't spend a lot of time there. Spend most of my cycles on 2.06 and EmuTOS 9.12 which is becoming my favorite boot image. The improved IDE 1.1 foot print and 2.0 mm header pins makes ...

Re: ST-IDE-ROM Dev Board v1 - BETA Testers

@PaulJ Hmm, you've put me on the spot there! Since I have TOS 2.06 via the IDE interface for the H4, let's go for the Mega first please. I'd like to get my Mega 1 going with TOS 2.06 and see how the Megabus IDE interface gets on with it. Ok Jon, I'll do the mega first and then the H4. I'll see if I...

Re: ST-IDE-ROM Dev Board v1 - BETA Testers

@PaulJ Cool, thank you. Hey @PaulJ I'd be grateful if you could share the details of the eprom emulator adaptor build please :) Which one do you want first Jon, I'll do a schematic with eagle but I have to make 27c400 layout since I can't find one. Would you prefer the H4 or mega first. Once I get ...

Re: The constant disappointment that is life...

Crikey, £20 on pellets was pretty much all I ever spent as a teenager. But yeah, it's becoming a theme with me where sellers are messing up quite simple orders. It's almost as if they employ morons to order pick. Yeah, probably about all I spent too! Orders do sometimes get messed up, it happens wh...

Re: Flashy Clock - Yet another DEV board

Icky, if your still working it's most likely more appropriate for you to stay safe while were sitting on our butt in the safety of our homes. Shesh even @rubber_jonnie is in the no dumb a$$ zone. Stay safe Icky. I'm ok @PaulJ. Fortunately I am working from home but it means the hours are still craz...

Re: Stuff and Things.

@PaulJ Hmm, well there must be some sort of social distancing lockdown ongoing, because I'm very short of dumba$$esat the moment. Don't know what's its like in GB but getting a little cabin fever here. All non-essential businesses shut down. Just went to grocery store, all in all pretty well stocke...

Re: Stuff and Things.

I think you've had some of my luck @rubber_jonnie with regards to the ide boards. Although I will probably order a couple more when @exxos store is open again. I mean, my luck cant be that bad. If nothing else I'll enjoy the fault finding when I get time. @PaulJ Presuming you have done the bodge wi...

Re: Stuff and Things.

So rubber_jonnie , which machine are you going to put your eprom emulator in? It goes well in the H4 and Mega. :) :) :) It would be convenient to have your mega bus IDE with the emulator on the same board. PP did supply the GAL equations to provide $E00000 decode in addition to the standard $FC0000/...
