Re: Trudie - The Next IDE Board

Brilliant stuff!

Seeing it fitted, though, I’m now sure this won’t fit on my C103253 board. Even if the angle was enough to avoid the MMU, the slot for the case post is directly above the 68000 on mine - right where Trudie would sit.

Never mind though - it’s a great bit of work!

Re: 030 exxos RTC issues.

Apologies for necro’ing an old thread (it’s not *that* old - still warm?) I’m using one of your Falcon RTCs, bought around the time of this thread, and had these exact symptoms. It’d work fine out on the bench, and even after reassembling the machine. But then after a few reboots, I’d get the dreade...

Re: exxos IDE interface (untested)

Looking at the C070789 vs. My board, it looks like mine has more overlap between the MMU and CPU. Might be an issue, might not! I seem to remember there still being a decent amount of space between the top of the Marpet MMU adapter and the shielding, so should be able to stack the IDE board up to go...

Re: exxos IDE interface (untested)

Well I started this evening with looking at if I should buy an Ultrasatan and see if I could fit it internally in an STFM... and ended up reading this entire thread instead! This looks fantastic -- well done to you both -- very tidy, and really reliable it seems! Looking forward to ordering the prod...

Is it one of these: viewtopic.php?f=56&t=717
?
That's the one -- a C103253. Mine's a C103253 Rev. 1

Re: Atari ST Display Basics

Hi! Just a small addendum/correction:

I have a UK 520STFM and Pin 2 definitely has a composite signal, despite this being indicated as STE-only.

I don’t have the board revision to hand, but it’s the odd one with the TOS ROMs under the PSU, with the RAM chips below (where ROMs are on most boards)
