Re: Look what Ive just nabbed off Ebay...
@Steve One of the downsides is that I didnt get any manual or even a box with it.
Thanks for the link @xyzzy76. I have seen that already. If anyone has a manual for one or a better understanding of the technical aspects of the PAL unit, I would be most grateful for any help!

Re: Look what Ive just nabbed off Ebay...
OK. Ive just recieved the unit in the post and have somehow managed to find the time to hook it up to my A500 and Dell 27" TFT for a quick look. Below are a few of the example images using just 4bpp: P1030937.JPG P1030935.JPG P1030934.JPG Unfortunately, the composite video signal is not great for si...

Re: Someone made a new 3dfx 6000!
Yes I'm very lucky to have a V5 5500 DVI Mac edition flashed to PC :) I have my 'Ultimate year 2000 gaming machine' which consists of P3 Tualatin 1.4ghz, V5, and cheating a little with Auzentech Xfi Prelude sound card. Nice. I guess thats a good setup for being able to use both W98SE/DOS and XP. Pe...

Re: Buffee the Vampire Slayer...
There is some code here: https://github.com/nonarkitten/pseudo-jit (the emulator core that - at least at a glance - appears to make sense) and also some schematics that show how the ARM SOC's I/O pins are connected to the m68k bus. I didn't find any code that would glue these together (i.e. drive t...

Re: Someone made a new 3dfx 6000!
It's a very elaborate fake, they made it on April fools day :D I was going to post a fake Voodoo picture that was doing the rounds at the time (bitchin' Voodoo Graphics; anyone remember that one?) the 6000 was released, but couldnt find it, so I found the above. Seemed apt enough replacement. Steve...

Re: Someone made a new 3dfx 6000!
I love it! I remember the good old days of Glide. I had the 55000 AGP version, but always wanted the full 6000. I used to hang out on the main 3DFX forum at the time and when the company finally went down, it was great to get the leaked faster hidden surface removal drivers that they were working on...

Re: Any ideas for a suitable tower case?
What about the DDD case? That would be the easiest to make yourself. Would that give enough room? I cant find a photo ATM, but its basically a flat layer over the front slope of the ST case (where the keyboard is). The keyboard is removed and the straight top rather than the sloped one previously ad...

Re: Any ideas for a suitable tower case?
I know its not much help, but Matrix (as in the company that made the VME cards for the TT) produced a tower case for the TT. I imagine if you can find something with the same sort of form factor it would be suitable (long and mainly single file ports/connections: post-2769-1073606520.jpg You will h...

Re: I haz ure Mega STEz
Did you buy the MSTE to colour co-ordinate with the cat, or was it the other way round?
