Re: V1.5 booster compatibility issues with ultrasatan

Thats too bad, but I get it and thanks for the response. I cracked open my STe and was excited to see the CPU is socketed and I wouldn't have to do ("have someone do" would be a lot smarter) major surgery. Guess I'll just do the MC68HC000 CPU swap that I was planning when I stumbled upon the booster...

if you decide to do another run of boosters that are stable, I'd take one. Thanks.

Re: Lightning VME open Order

Create Partition on that USB drive, with partitions upto 512MB, before this go to compatibility and check Tos and Windows Compatible (no Byteswap). Then the stick is usabel using TOS and Windows (Windows 10 supports more then one partition on USB Drives) I used a new USB thumb drive and it worked. ...

Re: Lightning VME open Order

Thanks to those who responded. I tried FAT16 formatted on PC. Last night I used HDDRIVER and partitioned a 128mb thumb drive TOS/DOS compatible. It spit out a notice that the partition is only Mint compatible - I'm using plain 2.06 so if anyone has any insight on proper settings I'd appreciate it. I...

Re: Lightning VME open Order

My Lightning VME arrived yesterday and after having the same tight fit as @troed the device was installed. I installed the drivers on my MSTE, TOS 2.06, 4mb, UltraSatan. I got a USB mouse to work. My computer would acknowledge most of the USB thumb drives, a SD card and USB floppy drive in USB.ACC H...

Re: Hello from Missouri USA

That would work only for monochrome (high res). The OSSC VGA expects 31khz input on the VGA. Where'd you get that information from? I have no problem running 15kHz on the VGA input on my OSSC. I don't like to mess with SCART cables! :-) See the screenshot of my Falcon030 in 15kHz/50Hz RGB mode, usi...

Re: Hello from Missouri USA

Looking at the back of the OSSC it has a scart connection, so a RGB to Scart cable should work I guess. Or the UBE monitor adapter in your store should work as well as the OSSC also has a VGA connector as input. https://www.exxoshost.co.uk/atari/last/storenew/#0107 For the Falcon030, the 3-in-1 mon...

Re: Hello from Missouri USA

First off, thanks everybody for all the input and warm welcome. Second, my responses are a bit delayed as my comments are all reviewed as I'm a new member here. Third, I just bought an OSSC. SCART's are not common here in the states. At all. I thought about a multisync, but its another monitor sitti...

Re: Hello from Missouri USA

I was one of the first to use the Ambery AV-1 Component to PC converter in conjunction with a Best Computers VGA cable and frankly it sucks. I've been using my MiST board lately because I just can't stand the blurry artifact filled screen on my real computers. Is the OSSC comparable to something lik...
