Re: H5 BUYERS INTERESTS

@exxos or @Icky

I am down for two assembled boards but was discussing this with a friend and he would like one also. Is it possible to change my total to THREE assembled H5's. I'll be on the hook for his if he should renege or whatever.

THANKS!

Re: H5 BUYERS INTERESTS

@exxos I would like two H5 boards with all possible components pre-installed. My soldering skills are not "terrible" nor are they "great", but I don't want to sit this project out. Thanks!

Re: Proposed next H4 board.

Just saw your blog regarding the soldering machine and sadly, it does sound cost prohibitive.

What you're proposing - all the generic resistors/caps/etc. being pre-installed - sounds excellent and I'll definitely give one of those a shot. I have a donor STF on standby.

Re: Proposed next H4 board.

Thanks for the reply, was mostly wondering if there will be a future (I know a lot of this is undecided, etc) version where the PCB house installs the caps and the SM components? I'd gladly pay the extra for one that was pre-built or mostly built.

Re: Proposed next H4 board.

Suggestion from me is to get all the passives and other smt components onto one side of the board so that you can get assembly done as part of the PCB order. That will take a lot of the pain out of the build for people. exxos is this a possibility; or put another way, should I wait? IIRC in some ot...

Re: Lightning VME open Order

Create Partition on that USB drive, with partitions upto 512MB, before this go to compatibility and check Tos and Windows Compatible (no Byteswap). Then the stick is usabel using TOS and Windows (Windows 10 supports more then one partition on USB Drives) I used a new USB thumb drive and it worked. ...

Re: Lightning VME open Order

Thanks to those who responded. I tried FAT16 formatted on PC. Last night I used HDDRIVER and partitioned a 128mb thumb drive TOS/DOS compatible. It spit out a notice that the partition is only Mint compatible - I'm using plain 2.06 so if anyone has any insight on proper settings I'd appreciate it. I...

Re: Lightning VME open Order

My Lightning VME arrived yesterday and after having the same tight fit as @troed the device was installed. I installed the drivers on my MSTE, TOS 2.06, 4mb, UltraSatan. I got a USB mouse to work. My computer would acknowledge most of the USB thumb drives, a SD card and USB floppy drive in USB.ACC H...

Re: Hello from Missouri USA

That would work only for monochrome (high res). The OSSC VGA expects 31khz input on the VGA. Where'd you get that information from? I have no problem running 15kHz on the VGA input on my OSSC. I don't like to mess with SCART cables! :-) See the screenshot of my Falcon030 in 15kHz/50Hz RGB mode, usi...
