Re: exxos blog - random goings on

Was a old password from years ago it seems. You sure about that? It says, "and provided the correct account name and password". Allowing for slightly different Chinese text, and translation, this looks pretty much like a normal Steam Guard email. I think you should change your password.

You are. You don't need to be using the image button, which is intended for external images, only the "place inline" button on your attachments.

Please see the post "How to place photos in a post" for details.

Re: LOLPRICE

I did see if the CD would boot on my Powerbook G4, but nope. I suspect it may be down to the version, IIRC it was necessary to boot from floppy with the version I have. I could be mistaken, but I don't think PPC BeOS boots on anything other than Be's own hardware. The x86 version will boot on a wid...

Re: LOLPRICE

Nice little collection there! Put it on eBay for £2k. I don't have any original media or paperwork to with mine. I got it back in the early 2000s for next to nothing, and just burnt a CDR to install the OS. I last powered it up a few months ago, and it was still working fine, even the original...

Re: LOLPRICE

I mean the Be case is unusual for sure, but I expect internally it's just a PC and nothing special. I still have a boxed copy of BeOS from BITD. It's not "just a PC", because it is a fully unique dual processor PowerPC architecture, so it certainly has collector value. I've got a dual-66 ...

Seems to be in pretty good shape, with a decent collection of swag, but come on.

Bonus: Item description reads as if it was written by Sotheby's.

Glad I'm not the only one who found the logo to be too-near-identical to that one.

Sounds like [they think] you haven't told them the model number for the panel.

Re: My summer project: A colour Stacy

Okay, I ordered this model and the board from AliExpress. They sent me a message (on their site) asking about what LCD model/number it was replacing and if they didn't hear anything back from me, they would program it for 1280x800 resolution. I wasn't asked about resolution, just about what panel I...

That seller made the mistake of setting his auction for delivery only in France. If he'd offered it for at least anywhere in EU, he would have gotten a lot more money I think.
