FOR SALE - PiModem
Hello guys! Offering this on multiple places, and wanted to give you the opportunity as well. A little backstory: When i started modding my Atari520ST, one of the things i really wanted to get going was dialing into BBS systems. For me, BBS'es were one of the most exciting expiriences when i got my ...

Re: My retro computer blog
I must say, good work on the case. On my 520STm i also keep the case original on the outside. I just removed a bit of plastic inside the case to make room for IDE Cables, but that is not visible from the outside. On the other hand, i think personally i would not have done all the work and then put a...

Re: Falcon H-sync fault
Might be a bad chip.
But, is there a pull-up somewhere in this signal path?
I can imagine that a broken pullup could look similar

Re: WANTED - Atari original injection molds
Given that those molds are massive pieces of steel, it might be possible to find them with a metal detector on low sensitivity without ever opening a palette.

Re: 32Mhz oscillator "issue"
(I also don't want to exaggerate how big of a problem this is. Yes, some things will fail. Might even be lower border in some games. Those of us who have machines that can run at 32.000 already can of course test ... and I have such hardware) Thanks... I don't know how all that works, but if its MF...

Re: My workshop
Oh, clever. I always thought the original 520ST looks great but the reality of all those power bricks must be a nightmare. I have no power brick at all. The ST and the TFT both run on an AT-Powersupply in the tower case. In there are also 2 Floppy drives and a raspberry pi, wich acts as a modem for...

A bit late, but ....
After writing here for a while, i think it is overdue to introduce myself. Some users here alreasy know me from the german atari-forum, but anyways. My introduction to Atari was a total accident. It happened a few years ago, when i was offered a "box of electronic garbage" for recycling/ha...
