Re: Any spare PCB for DFB1 r5?
So sorry BW! I haven't logged in here in ages. If OP still wants one I can send a reclaimed one. (Basically I was in a hurry do build so if I made a mistake with CPLD I just tossed it in the pile and grabbed a new one) but I'm sure it will clean up just fine. Australia Post no longer offers the free...

Can I use midi files as game music tracks in STOS?
Hi guys, Sorry if this question has been asked before, Google hasn't been too helpful. Does anyone know if it's possible to play a .MID file in STOS as a game music track? (using the synth, not outputting to midi) or alternatively, if there is any software to convert .MID files to whatever format is...

Re: Getting sound out of an STFM
Just use RF (even with a modern TV) and hit tune...

Re: Steve's DFB1 build
Steve DFB1 Nightcore edition. ;) I fitted UV LEDs on my build to try to capture the mood. Cautionary tale, don't do that. They were very expensive and didn't look half as cool as I thought they would. They're also very hard to see and can give you welding flash :lol: Visible LEDs look a lot better.

Re: Stuart's DFB1 Build
When you say 'not detected', just to be clear, unless you're using (hardware booted!) EmuTOS, the TT-RAM isn't auto-detected. You have to run FASTRAM.PRG or MAPROM.PRG (https://github.com/agranlund/tftools) or their equivalents from the auto folder. OMG Sweet! I didn't even stop to think about whet...

Re: Stuart's DFB1 Build
Ah, but did you try the flash.ttp I posted here? I've seen that work for sure with rev5, whereas dfbflash.c might be targetting a different hardware configuration (I don't recall). Hi BW. Yep. I did. Still doesn't verify. I'm using an eBay 5 for $10 CPLD though so I'm starting to suspect that. The ...

Curious Falcon CPU adapter
Hi all. I stumbled across this today. It's from a very old eBay auction that's long gone. I'm just a bit curious;
I'm struggling to understand how this works at all without any decode logic. Any ideas?

Re: Stuart's DFB1 Build
I cant fault dfbflash.c no matter how many times I look at it. The erase and write sequence is correct. It should just work.
I'm leaning towards a shitty solder on my behalf.
