Re: TF530 Build Woes

I thought you were running at 25? You can try these two. the first one should be good for 25 mhz and up, although to be honest I don't remember anymore, it's been a while. The 50.zip will only run at 50. There is a whole bunch of others also, but hopefully one of these two will work. tf530r2.zip 50....

Re: TF530 Build Woes

pretty sure you need ovr and int2 connected on the rev 2. No you don't, only INT2 for IDE. You probably have a solder issue somewhere... can you check with a microscope? You can erase the RAM CPLD and see if it will boot without it. If not, it's probably the bus CPLD. I am very fond of the 530 rev2...

Re: For Sale Atari flashed TF536 + TOS decoder board

Hi guys, the firmware flashed is this one: https://www.exxoshost.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=93&t=3442&start=10#p50302 (As recommended by PhilC ). Fun fact, the board will boot on the Amiga with this firmware also (just no RAM or IDE are seen as expected). I generally don't sell boards flashed with ...

Re: TF CD32 Riser Revision 2 Build Guide.

So I got my ret6 chip today. To my surprise it looks like it made things worse! I think I will have to send you one of these boards to take a look at. EDIT: well, actually no, not worse. But same as RET7. So I guess it doesn't matter if we use RET6 or RET7 so that's good to know.

Re: TF CD32 Riser Revision 2 Build Guide.

Using this as 25 mhz: https://www.mouser.ca/ProductDetail/774-445C25D25M00000/ This as the 32k: https://www.mouser.ca/ProductDetail/815-ABS07W32.768KD2T/ The caps are the ones from Steve's assembly file, put directly by JLC. If you can't reproduce this with an 80 mhz crystal, I'll send you my riser ...

Re: TF CD32 Riser Revision 2 Build Guide.

RTC not detected now, mouse still crazy, and joypad buttons still show as being pressed! Very odd. Hopefully I will get the RET6 chip to try soon.

Re: TF CD32 Riser Revision 2 Build Guide.

Yes, the RTC is detected in ATK.

So just flashed this new one and it has the same effect, ATK still reports joystick buttons being pressed. If you switch to CD32 gamepad mode in port 1 in AmigaTestKit, it shows all buttons being pressed all the time.

Re: TF CD32 Riser Revision 2 Build Guide.

Do you mean if DB9 is plugged in at the same time as USB? There is no reaction whatsoever to DB9 mouse when the USB is plugged in. As soon as I unplug the USB the DB9 starts working.
