Re: Ready built TF536 Atari version. Any Interest?

Two more Atari version TF536 are now available. Both are 64mb with 33mhz 68030 running at 50mhz successfully for 5 to 6 hours non stop. Lots of other testing done. As said before ideally these will need a version of TOS that supports the 030 cpu. And to achieve this a decoder board may be required....

Re: TF536 Problems with Amiga and WHDLoad

Well thanks for all that and yes I agree that the 500 is a pain, this is why I test in a rev5 rev6 and rev8a before selling. The buyer has a rev8 so I am trying to replicate his problems, which I just cant seem to do. Looks like it may well be one of those things :) It also helps to know if all gam...

Re: TF536 Problems with Amiga and WHDLoad

I have received this board back this morning and installed it and ever since F/A 18 interceptor has been running with no issues at all in my Rev 8a. This leaves me with two viable scenarios, either the buyers Rev8a is flaky or it could be the firmware. This is one that I had used the keeper firmwar...

Adding another 1.6mm for the TF536 board and 4mm for the unsocketed ceramic 68030 ( The plastic ones look to be the same )
The plastic ones sit a bit taller (about 2-3mm) than the ceramic ones because of the blob they have on some pins, so I guess it's best to use a ceramic one here.

@PaulJ_2.0 if you find that chip is intermittently sulky please send it to me and i'll see if i can look at whats going on. I've not had sulky chips yet so I wanna get my hands on one to see if i can solve the issue so we can use more of these lower end chips.
I have tons of these I can send you.

Re: NEW BOM

ISSI IS42S16320F-6TL works fine on the TF360, although this is a 16x32 capacity (128 MB) and also it's not really cheaper than the others at all. But it is an alternative.

Re: TF536 IDE speed

Guys sysinfo is crap. These results are meaningless and very approximate at best. Do a measurement with a real disk speed benchmarking tool. Like diskspeed or even sysspeed.

Re: TF536 Bulk Order Batch 4 (exxos run)

Wow that RAM is super cheap. Do we know if it actually works with this board?
