How much is the TF330 alone, I already have a Kipper2K v6 riser and loads of CF adapters used on my other Amiga stuff!...

I have prebuilt TF330s for $115 USD/£90 GBP. I still haven't managed to get rid of all the stock, but I am hoping they will soon be gone.

Re: Early blue TF328 problem

The CPLDs are 3.3v chips. They need the JTAG to behave at 3.3v. Maybe I just have to exchange the RAM chips to 5V versions then!... They should work fine. There has been extensive testing on this. just dont use the clock buffer. Its not needed on the CD32. The 5V ISSI and 5V alliance chips don't wo...

Re: Early blue TF328 problem

The ram chips might be failing due to being 3.3V but also you are also not using the clock buffer, so that might definitely help stabilize it...

Re: Early blue TF328 problem

This is not one of mine as I never used ISSI chips. However, you should try moving the jumper to the upper two pins, that may solve your issue.

You can buy 328s from me if needed. I use proper 5V chips only.

Re: Early blue TF328 problem

This is most likely an issue with your RAM chips. Who built your board? What type of RAM chips are on board?

Re: TF536 on A500

Let me try to build another one first... This board is now quite battered up with me having replaced every single thing on it, so that may well be contributing...

Re: TF536 on A500

I wanted to make a video of the 536 this weekend but I couldn't even get it to complete booting... so I gave up.

Re: 536 woes

Sorry, I was away for a few days. All the caps are X7R. All the components are literally the same as on the 330, except for the CPLD. I tried the original A500 PSU as well as my usual AT one. Same behaviour on the A1000 except for extra graphics glitches... I dunno. If you can send me another PCB St...

Re: 536 woes

Same thing even after replacing the CPLD. The only firmware that works stable is the one that Stephen sent me with the fast ram disabled. Yet the fast ram itself doesn't fail any tests.

Re: 536 woes

I tested on: NTSC A1000, NTSC 500 rev 6, PAL A500+. The A1000 is the one that gets the most graphics glitches. I replaced the CPLD in an act of desperation now :) Will try that in a bit to see if that makes any difference. I never had any of these issues with the 534 and I built a good number of the...
