TF536 and CDTV how to?

Main goal is to get CD-drive work under Amiga OS. So editing devs/dosdrivers CD0 file is needed. Open it with text editor and change ; Device = cdtv.device FileSystem = CDFileSystem And BufMemType = 2 or 3 Note that those names are case sensitive!! so cdfilesystem doesn't work, it needs to be CDFile...

Re: End of all TF (Amiga) projects

How about those of us, who have ordered PCBs from Exxos'? How we get needed firmwares?

Re: CDTV Relocator for the TF536

terriblefire At some point you are going to just have to dive in and start doing this for yourself as there will never be a "off the shelf" solution for the CDTV. Unless the warp guys make one. I'm well aware that, but I'm first to admit my weaknesses, I'm prety shitty with soldering. Sometimes whe...

Re: CDTV Relocator for the TF536

What are dimensions of V3 relocator?
What else is required? Those things wich are soldered to it? I have no idee what they are in finnish, or english.

You seems to have CDTV, have you managed to get CD work on OS?

Re: Warp on a CDTV

Considering situation, soldering relocator for a TF536 would not be good choise. As go0se said, it limits use to CDTV only and now without any change to get it work with CDTV 100%. Would be that soldering CPU directly to TF536 would allow close the lid or would IDE header be still be a limit? Anothe...

Re: Warp on a CDTV

I asked about CD-drive This card will allow the bus to pass by another system (in this case U36 DMAC). So CD_ROM should work fine. This card would also work well in the A2000 with ZORRO slots in DMA mode. So they think that it just would work. GadgetUK164 It has a RTG with Picasso96 support. RTG Gra...

Re: The TF536 on a CDTV

with all respect, I think that it is not even remotely possible, that anyone could do money with CDTV. CS-Labs has said many times that Amiga is just a hobby for them and they do what they do just because they can.Even if they solve CD-drive system, they don't need to make it public.

Re: The TF536 on a CDTV

OK, no CDTV accelerator for me. :( Warp CDTV is just piece of paper currently. If it would ever materialize cost of accelerator would be 499€ without a CPU. It is not just a a accelerator, it is multipurpose board quite much stuff on it. I would like to get just an accelerator. So Stephen, could you...

Re: Warp on a CDTV

@8 bit dreams I think it will be utterly expensive and I would like to get "accelerator", not a multipurpose expansion. I rather spend that amount of money to A1222 if it ever get out.
