Re: Ram upgrade compatible with Tf534 rev 2c

From my little bit of troubleshooting with Diagrom, it appears the SupraRam doesn’t autoconfig correctly. It seems to always locate the RAM at a fixed location. That is, if autoconfig tells it to locate the RAM at a given address, it uses a different address instead. This causes a conflict with the ...

All in all it's been nice to have one back in the fold, but I still have no desire to use it.

Have I become a hoarder?
I’d say collector, but not hoarder. Yet.

I myself rarely use my vintage computers. I find that I get more enjoyment from reading about them, fixing them, collecting them, etc.

I’m not at home, so can’t try any games at the moment. I wouldn’t worry about glitches until you try the whdload versions

Re: diagrom showing 0 fastmem on new board

It could be a multitude of things. CPU, RAM, soldering. I also remember something about one of the TF boards not being stable WITHOUT an FPU. I don't know if it's the 530 though.

I have an FPU in mine.

Re: Does anyone have any PDF OCR type tools ?

I OCR'd the file, but the text recognition was far from perfect. I think the font on the original PDF is too inconsistent, too thin for proper recognition. Perhaps someone else will have a better document for you, but I figured this was better than nothing.

Re: Potential changes on a future board.

Glad to see it's been taken care of. Good point on the short, I'll leave the board as is then.

Re: Potential changes on a future board.

I have a small suggestion - Please add a small hole under the flashy clock port. I have two cases (1040 STF, 520 STE) that have a standoff there. I just might take a drill and add it myself for the H4, assuming there isn't anything important there.
