... am I the only person who gets this effect when using mono on a VGA monitor - or is it something specific to this setup.
Not sure if I understand you correctly, but my STF / STE monochrome signals are crisp when sent to my VGA monitor.

Re: H4G - Mongrel SMT Edition

Next on the list is the Composite GEN, Mono GEN and Audio GEN areas. All the components have been changed to SMT and will tidy them up a little later. For people like me who can’t solder, can you add a little spacing between the components? As it currently is, I think I’d have a hard time with the ...

Re: Ram upgrade compatible with Tf534 rev 2c

From my little bit of troubleshooting with Diagrom, it appears the SupraRam doesn’t autoconfig correctly. It seems to always locate the RAM at a fixed location. All in all it's been nice to have one back in the fold, but I still have no desire to use it.

Have I become a hoarder?

Re: diagrom showing 0 fastmem on new board

It could be a multitude of things. CPU, RAM, soldering. I also remember something about one of the TF boards not being stable WITHOUT an FPU. I don't know if it's the 530 though.

I have an FPU in mine.

Re: Does anyone have any PDF OCR type tools ?

I OCR'd the file, but the text recognition was far from perfect. I think the font on the original PDF is too inconsistent, too thin for proper recognition. Perhaps someone else will have a better document for you, but I figured this was better than nothing.
