Re: Atari ST Spacebar...

I'll need to go into the loft to do it. I only noticed because I had been on this forum and finally put the xmas tree away yesterday (don't judge me).

The bending is very very slight but the cracks appear the same.

I'll get them down after the weekend and post some pics.

Atari ST Spacebar...

I have a couple of Atari ST machines and both seem to have the same slightly bowed spacebar with a hairline crack on the front, in the middle.

Is this a common thing, or as I am prone to be, just unlucky?

Re: Hi! Mark Fixes Stuff from the UK!

Thanks Ingo! I've not done much on the toasties due to their relative rarity, but I do know I have a sick one waiting in a package here to be unboxed soon. I can't believe how much they go for these days!!! Really liking it here. First forum that I've frequented for years and it's nice to step away ...

Re: Hi! Mark Fixes Stuff from the UK!

As a fellow newbie here I say: Welcome, Mark! Thanks kludge! Watched quite a few of your videos when I was in the process of getting a ZX Spectrum 48k up and running. Never did, though. I might just have to get back up on that particular horse. :) Yes! Definitely a good idea, and a 48k Spectrum is ...

Hi! Mark Fixes Stuff from the UK!

Hi everyone. I'm Mark and I have a small Youtube channel called Mark Fixes Stuff where I muck about with things that generally don't work etc. I have a massive pile of old games systems, computers etc. People seem to mostly know me for Spectrum stuff, but I love all retro equally. I don't repair thi...

Re: Total Newbie Thread

Supaduper! I am unable to respond to your private message, I suspect it is because I'm new. There doesn't seem to be a button. :P In answer, I need pretty much all of it, and would even be open to getting a known working pair of the required CPLD regardless of having found one of them as above, from...
