Re: EEVblog #1158 - How To Create PCB Mod Boards

He said mod the board not the outright mutilation which normally happens

To be fair its nice we live in a time when its feasibly to make these kind of things instead of loads of wires going all over the place to bits hanging off or optional hot glued to stuff

Re: Automatic soldering gun?

How the hell are you supposed to control the solder flow? Sheer madness IMHO, though who knows, it may be perfect for people making cheap knock off radio alarm clocks on Chinese production lines! Re: Ultima V: Warriors of Destiny

I've never played this game. I'm wondering why I never got it back in the days. I think I'll give it a try during the holidays. I hope saving works well ;-) Me too, everyone raves about the series, but I don't even recall seeing it in shops or anyone having it? I found PC owners tended to mention i...

Re: scam of the day

From the old passwords they claim to be using in the mails, I found they tend to be getting the details from forums/sites that have had there databases hacked and then put out on stuff like that PasteBin. Its possible one of my old email addresses is floating around since my evilbay days I think. I...

Re: scam of the day

I don't get how they even got my email address as its not one I even use often. Brute force attacks get banned. From the old passwords they claim to be using in the mails, I found they tend to be getting the details from forums/sites that have had there databases hacked and then put out on stuff li...

RetroAhoy documentary on Commodore marketing the Amiga

Interesting for all computer fans as it don't really focus on the system but the marketing behind it and how it failed, can have the best product in the world but without the support and software to back it up well its worthless. I found the sales figures of the IBM clones mentioned to be really hig...
