The mince pie dilemma

I've had this mince pie in the fridge since December 6th 2019, I was too ill to eat it. What I want to know is what are my moral/legal obligations regarding the pie? I feel bad looking at it, I can't eat it now, it seems wrong somehow. The box said it was good until the 20/01/20, so we still got tim...

Re: Fake / Genuine 68060 Rev 6

It amazes me people would even think to counterfeit such a thing. Even at £100 a time the markets so small is it worth it? I vaguely recall people pulling CPUs from old Apple accelerator cards and using them, because they was cheaper and loads about, but I can't remember which CPU it was? https://ww...

Re: So many pop ups you can't even read the site

Unfortunately, however, none of this will really help DrF with his mobile browser woes. Could be worse :p I just find it unreal, our local paper even has some pop up go over the top of the article and forces you to answer surveys and other crap to view it. On the PC im ok, I got uBlock and some pri...

So many pop ups you can't even read the site

While stuck in bed for a month, trying to use a mobile browser, the true horror of the amount of crap you get when you go to a site these days was realised... Pop up telling you they're broke and you need to turn off the the adblock... Pop up going on about cookies... usually followed by a multiple ...

Re: A love note hidden in TOS

What is maybe lesser known is how it was hidden in the TOS ROMs. Maybe Dave just didn't give a TOS  There's a article on a old web page that listed things like this that was found in games, messages to pirates all kinds of stuff. https://codetapper.com/amiga/random-rants/hidden-messages-in-ami...

Re: BLITTER revisions ?

I got a question I think :) If there are different revisions of the blitter chips out there in the wild and lets say X game or Y demo is programmed around these bugs/fixes what ever, then surely that means there's a small % of STs where said software would break or not work if Atari fixed/moved/bod...

Re: Finally! An Atari ST HDMI All Resolution Solution!!

Thanks for the link. Kinda looks like he is re-using some "off the shelf" converter though ? Smonson on here did a HDMI board a 2+ years ago, but it goes further and replaces the shifter as well. https://www.exxoshost.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=330 Judging by that packaging I think your right...
