Re: Importance of clean fans

Know these problems only too well. There are magnetic dust filters, that you can attach to the cases air intake, to help with that. Provided, the case is made of metal of course ;) I posted some updates to this in the wrong place lol https://www.exxoshost.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1668#p24345

Re: Credit card vs Debit cards on new webstore poll

EU complaining they don't have credit cards because they cost to much. So I lost a lot of custom that way anyway. Most just want to use iban which I can't take anyway. I was reading about the other day, I find that quite interesting why Europeans are like that, that's when I learnt about that Germa...

Re: Single core maxed out, any solutions win7 ?

What amazes me about this sorry state of affairs is back in the mid 90's we had a dual IBM 486 thing and that had software to assign threads to each CPU, granted we just played Raptor, Doom, Wacky Wheels on it  So why now all these years later we still struggling away? Even my Corel Draw which ...

Re: Adventures in video card cooling

El Cheapo Chinese fan controller turned up, shockingly fast 4 days :o I think it was £2.x something. Glad I never paid the UK prices now  Most had SATA power connections, I chose the molex because I have 1 molex that I doubt I will ever use, and about 20 sata connections for some bizarre reason...

Re: When I hate the ST :o

Maybe for a bit of fun compare the 3 versions PC, Amiga, ST, im sure there was a Mac version anyhow, compare the disk images see how big the files are and stuff like that, might provide a answer, I can't see there being a lot of differanec between the Amiga & ST versions, I assume it would have been...

Re: When I hate the ST :o

I was curious, why they did cut that amimation on the ST That's a very good question, maybe they chopped a few frames out of it to save space? 720k Atari disk vs 880k Amiga? I mean it's quite a big picture, i'm assuming they used frames and not doing some zoom trickery on 1 picture since it's all a...
