Brilliant film :D I thought I was the only one who seen it  As for floating off and dying in space, what the chances years of lead solder abuse caused mild brain misfi...

Re: Atari to release throwback console with classic games, joystick

Whole situation reminds me of something, some people do that's a bit iffy, like re-registering old dissolved company names and then trading as them, there's a name in law for it "trading on previous goodwill" some people do it on purpose to make some cash then chuck it away, move on to the next one ...

Re: Atari to release throwback console with classic games, joystick

they are the original Atari That's why I clicked, who actually knows who Atari is anymore anyway? The rights and names must have changed hands a 100 times by now? On a sort of good side its good that the name is still considered to have some value even after all this time. Although it does seem to ...

Re: Future store updates planned (backend)

Basically because if the jiffy bag went through the 20mm shipping slot.. And that was paid for at the post office, if those switches happen to go one on top of another, it would actually make it larger than 20mm and the shipping cost would actually be incorrect, and the buyer would actually get bil...

Re: Interesting use for a 68000

Remember the EuroFighter had a 68k family chip, turns out its 020, and found this little bit of info too : A number of digital oscilloscopes from the mid-80s to the late-90s used the 68020, including the LeCroy 9300 Series[3] (higher end models including "C" suffix models used the more powerful 68EC...

Re: Interesting use for a 68000

Cool. There was some 68K's in arcade machines in the past as well. Though most were Z80 powered. What I noticed about that was you had a 68K as the main and the Z80 would be doing something else all together. I saw a video the other day and Super Hang On arcade was mentioned and it had 2 x 68ks, al...

A CPU MADE FROM 74HC CHIPS

I don't know why but I love odd things like this, shows you don't need to be Intel/AMD or whoever to do something : https://github.com/Pconst167/dreamcatcher cpu-main.jpg https://youtu.be/Uvvsaj7BBzo I think fault finding might be a bit of a issue though... but its ok just blame the DMA like everyon...
