As Higgy already said, these machines give very little trouble. You can see the revision on the PCB on the right hand corner just under the floppy drive in the nearest corner. Rev 5+ and up are the best, if you find a Rev8+ with only 0,5MB Chip memory onboard you are in luck, these do not have a bat...

If you let the batteries get to low or you mix different batteries(type/age/batch) it is possible for one or more of the batteries to get drained and then negatively charged by the other batteries. This will damage the batteries and they will not work correctly anymore, it looks like the problems yo...

That's a good question. Thanks. I believe they are all connected solid, but I have not done a thorough pin-by-pin check. Did you check every CPU pin if it they are connected solid?
