Re: Forgottenmyname - Progress

If the mouse is not working the keyboard is probably not working as the mouse is managed by the keyboard micro controller. The keyboard is connected to one of the ACIA so next is to check E, VMA and VPA. If you get something on the serial port that means the MFP is working .. at least partially. The...

Re: New video connector ?

Yes. I was thinking of feeding the R[0..2], G[0..2] and B[0..2] from the shifter into muxes. These are digital 0/1 output, not analog, then feed the output of these mux to the resistor ladder. On the 2nd input of each mux you feed in the mono pin (to all of them).
Just a thought.

Re: New video connector ?

The MUXes need to be analog MUXes for the RGB .... unless you're muxing the shifter output to the resistor ladder.

Re: Quadruple Your Internet Speed for Free..

ping time is relative to the speed of light mostly. From my place California to my place in France it's 180ms, because it's 9000 Km away. Some of this is latency through equipment along the path, most of it is speed of light limit You ping time to USA will always be higher than to Netherlands. In Fra...

Re: Quadruple Your Internet Speed for Free..

Same here (multiple 10G links at work), so it was really like "I should download this now before going home" every day, specially before when I had a slow connection. I consider myself lucky now with what I have and now downloads (legal) are fast.

Re: Quadruple Your Internet Speed for Free..

well apparently yes... but my cable are single mode fiber on the ISP side and a mix of CAT6a and Multimode fiber on my side .. so does this trick work too !? .. because I could use the 4x improvement :D .. and rework my internal network to be all 10G instead of 1G :D
