I see the cables, will probably wait now until Tuesday as that's payday :) Damn, some IDE interfaces ...

Re: exxos blog - random goings on

I have a Meanwell replacement PSU that I need a lead for, so the length isn't that important to me. I will look out for them in the shop :)

The parts I ordered from your store yesterday arrived at lunchtime today, that's good service :)

Oooh, you found some!

Will they be going in your shop or reserved for your own PSUs?

It is an interesting idea, similar to what Sega did with the Megadrive I believe. It has a 68000 and a Z80 inside.
Cool! did not know that!
Yeah, you can read about it here: https://hackaday.com/2015/11/06/winning ... ral-study/

Re: CPU Strangeness

I've kind of decided I will slot the CPU into a spare socket and solder the CPU to the socket so I can get the benefit of turned pin to turned pin plus solder. Then it's more like the PAK, which still works. Will it work, I don't know, but the CPU is just so loose in the socket, it's got to be a con...

Re: CPU Strangeness

Spray the CPU and socket with contact cleaner, also resolder the CPU socket.. Will clean the contacts, but given the PAK works, I suspect the soldering is ok. I will do that as a last resort. TBH, I think it is poor contact in the turned pin socket I'm using, as the CPU can almost be pulled out by ...

...My question would be, can the Lib-902, which is 3.6v, actually be replaced by a 1.5v AAA battery?...
Nope, it won't work. You replace it with a 10440 Li-Ion battery as stated in OP. It's 3,7V.
Cool, hadn't noticed that.

Re: Extending a AAA-size battery with a solid block of copper?

It looks like the same sort of batter my MD player had, which is like a flattened AA cell, so I kind of get how this works, but I'd be surprised if you can't buy an adapter, you can certainly 3d print one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2137876 . My question would be, can the Lib-902, which is 3....
