Mostly I'm using mine to mod, as I love to increase the capabilities of these older machines, such as RAM and CPU upgrades etc. It's much more enjoyable to do it on the ST, the Amiga is dead boring in that respect, as a lot of stuff just plugs in. That's a very late ZX81, so it should have the ULA which produces a reasonable display. (The early one forgot to add a bit at the beginning of the scan line which is used to gauge the black level. This meant that all colour TVs (and some B&W ones) showed a very dark display.) I notice that the manu...
