Re: V2.5 BOOSTER CURRENT PROTOTYPE STATUS (SEC BOOSTER)

Yeah for me as a demo coder being able to run a boosted machine as stock dynamically through software, and then switch up the speed when compiling & linking, is exactly what's needed :) Being boosted all the time means not being able to use it at all when demo coding.

Re: Steem SSE v4.0.0 released

Not sure I like Hatari's version any better actually. It's like having WS3 being the default wakestate, I would've preferred it to be random, as on real hardware. Faking the "most compatible" setting is a step away from accurate emulation ... Ricoh/IMP chipset wouldn't change between boot ups on rea...

Can only assume a register is accessed which is causing a bus error when it shouldn't, or the other way around, not very clear what it means.
Yeah, but I would be _very_ surprised if that's an STF vs STFM difference. Ricoh vs IMP chipsets however I know of at least one such difference.

Version 4.0.0 has finally been released.
ST model: STFM
The difference with STF is bus error (crash!) on STE register LINEWID access (Colorz, Fuzion 77 & 78, Imagination, No Cooper...).

This sounds weird. Anyone knows what this is about?

Re: Cartridge Port connector

Might be easier to tool a converter from vertical to angle?

Re: Project: HDMI/DVI out for STFM

There might be a way, if I remember correctly, where the HDMI-board could sit pass-through between the motherboard and the original STE GST-MCU. Slightly different project though.

Re: An Atari ST HDMI All Resolution Solution??

He's asked me to check it out upon receiving it, even if I want to send it back, because he wants honest feedback on it. Since he (or someone else?) has deleted all post on Facebook so that people over there can't see the presumable source of his VGA2HDMI converter, anymore: Did he in the end answe...

Re: Atari VCS Architect Resigns

I've never expected anything else than a somewhat speedy set top Linux box. I'll be really happy if that's what I get.

Rather a nice looking box with an Atari logo than a box with another logo to run my Kodi and RetroArch.

Would ROM access speed likely break anything demo or game wise that you know of ?
It will break stuff, but it would be unknown exactly what and how many until tested. Also I think it would mostly be copy protections breaking.

Re: Floppy drive 12V amps draw ?

The original external floppy PSU is speced at 0.21A 12V if that's any indication.
