However, instead of having white dots in the black screen area (as in picture above) - the black 'paper' is now solid black.
This means that you have different memory errors in different banks - which unfortunately is an indicator that there's more than one fault to find.

Re: Troed's H4 build

Replaced my original Atari Falcon 4MB board with the SIMM holder and 60ns SIMM. The original memory would have no chance at 16MHz.

Also got my Ricoh RTC chips (same as Mega ST). Will start looking into schematics to fit it to the H4 with GAL decoding for the address etc.

Re: Google SkyWater IC-manufacturing project

130nm is Pentium 4 class technology, so way way way more than needed. Also means we'd have high likelyhood of those recreations to be clocked much higher than the originals.

68060 was made with ~600nm.

Re: Google SkyWater IC-manufacturing project

Whoa

Making new runs of custom chips would be awesome. This increases the use we would have from decapping and recreating them.

(I'd much rather have copies of the originals than sw versions in an FPGA. Same pinout, swappability etc)

Re: Cartridge keys and emulation

I'm sure it will be similar to Creator, so if I succeed in dumping the Creator key I have it would be worthwhile spending that kind of money on Notator. However, currently I'm on the 1st gen Steinberger (Masterscore right now) and while I know I will succeed (thanks to the work others have done) I d...

Re: H4 16mhz modification

Somewhere, I added images of clock skew which gave a 1 in 4 chance of booting. Which are down to the wake up states . this was future made problematical as the glue would have a 1 in 2 chance of being able to display the video properly. Again down to wakeup states. Thanks - I didn't have those issu...

Re: H4 16mhz modification

Thanks!

I'm out of the loop what the original 16MHz PCB does. My intention is to connect up a GAL running (some version of) my doubleST code and see what happens.

please report to the FreeMiNT team via Github
Thanks - I wasn't sure if the drivers were unmodified since you had them for download as well. The beta version works fine with the latest USB4TOS drivers, but the scroll wheel still throws four bombs so I will report it to FreeMiNT.

Re: Lightning ST USB-IDE Interface for Atari ST Computers

Sony OPM-U30 (that's what it identifies as) USB mouse instantly 4 bombs when using the scroll wheel :) Working excellently otherwise.

Latest drivers (R268)

This on my H4 board, although I don't expect that to play a role. TOS 1.04.

Troed
