Nova eGPU

So eGPU is just another name to a phenomenon pioneered by Atarians decades ago in the form of Nova. I always thought it was cumbersome without a proper case. I had a moment of inspiration and came up with a design based on this: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2974854. I shortened it and modified ...

The logo image is 96px wide and I assumed 96px high but my first attempt was cropped. So not sure of exact height.
Height is 86 pixels.
Bigger logos are also possible. I remember I was using a logo more than 96 pixels wide.. long time ago..
Good info, thanks!

Hello,

Here's a picture of the 2 diodes on pin 15 and 16.
The grey wire goes to the Eprom-CS at pin 22.
That's all there is to it.

Re: TT Rom access speedup

Hey Atarian would it be possible for you to post a simplified guide with some mobo photos to help? Thx Also is it possible for me to find out what speed my thunderstorm roms are? I can't program roms so it might be problematic for me. Sure, I can make a guide. I just need to finalize my custom ROMs...

Re: TT Boot Logo

Thanks. It was pretty easy to figure out in the end. The offset where the logo begins in TOS3.06 is 35FF4 The logo image is 96px wide and I assumed 96px high but my first attempt was cropped. So not sure of exact height. Starting from offset 35FF4, each HEX value represents 8 pixels in binary. 00 is...

TT Boot Logo

So I was bored today and had a go at making a custom boot logo. Pretty happy with it.

Re: Definitely not Atari - Driving a bit 80's retro

Ever since watching Knight Rider as a kid, I dreamt of owning K.I.T.T. When I was 13 I found out that it was actually a 1982 Pontiac Trans Am. So that became my dream car that I swore I'd have. Turns out that as soon as I turned 18, my dad loaned me the money I needed to buy a blue 1982 Trans Am. G...

Re: TT Rom access speedup

Just now I've also tested with the 1N5819 diodes. And that also works just fine. Then I removed the CF-cards so the TT would boot from floppy. Attached are the result files. Quite similar to the pictures in previous post. I've only looked at the Rom speed while I compared the before and after. The ...
