Re: C070243 REV.C - Atari 260ST (1Mb) - Strange

This is a RAM upgrade that Atari has known to do themselves. Whether it's through a dealer, I don't know. All I know from various sources is that it was an upgrade sanctioned by Atari, and one that I've done myself several times.

Re: TT Boot Logo

The offset is not quite right, and also depends on the language of the TOS. For TOS 3.06(us), the logo starts already at $35fe8. The table below should give the absolute address for all (official) tos versions (subtract $e00000 to get the file offset): 306us: e35fe8 306de: e36018 306fr: e36036 306u...

Re: -5v - from an ATX psu?

NIce... Here is more info on the Ian Stedman stuff... including a github link with all his schematics. http://www.ianstedman.co.uk/Amiga/designs/Amiga_ATX_Adaptor/amiga_atx_adaptor.html I distinctly remember creating -5V from 5V with a 7905. I can vouch for Stedy's adapter. I have it specifically f...

Re: Atari TT030 Revision Guide

I´m sorry, but for quite some time I won´t take´m apart again. But if it happens in any future, I´ll be thinking of You... There are some pictures yet - I apologize for their bad quality (don´t have a better camera): Thanks! Main takeaway is that this model actually exists. I shall update the guide...

Re: Atari TT030 Revision Guide

Astounding effort. Boah! Chapeau! " where is REV B? I assume that as REV B was about to go into production some last minute changes were done that warranted the B1 designation and REV Bs were never manufactured." Just one remark: I own a daughterboard-TT telling on it´s tin side: C300720-001 Rev B ...

Mine (REV.C - PGA model, C301763-001 REV A): Thanks! According to https://coil32.net/online-calculators/inductor-color-code-calculator.html "LD01" seems to be 10uH coil. They indeed look like caps: https://www.partco.fi/en/electronic-components/passives/coils/axial-inductors/12970-kelap-10u.html :c...

Re: TT030 C302406-001 REV H

My eyes are pretty tired after I tried to figure out what is that quite big light green resistor located at near PSU connector and c120 capacitator   Is that 10ohm resistor? I'll soon try to bring life to TT that has some components missing and that resistor is one of them. Yeah, you ha...

Re: Agranlunds TF534 Build

I build EmuTOS with -m68030 -DSTATIC_ALT_RAM_ADDRESS=0x01000000 The biggest performance boost comes from letting it know about fastram at compile time, this allows it to put a large chunk of its internal variables there instead of in ST-RAM (the Vampire V2 + V4 optimized builds do the same thing) I...
