Re: Upgrading my Stacy

Hi all. I have a Atari Stacy 2 that I have upgraded to 4Mb RAM. Now I'm looking for a good way to change the 20Mb HD to something bigger and more modern. I have looked at the Ultrasatan and wonder if it's possible to use it with the Stacy. So my first question is if it will work with TOS 1.04? Will...

Nope.. TOS cannot run without RAM.

I have been soldering the last couple of nights and making some progress.
Well done to you as well. Points for resistor stripe alignments. One problem I see. And it's a big one...

Those big caps should probably be lay flat :)

I wouldn't bother with the blitter for now anyway :)

7402 installed.

I found this. Will it work standalone and what do the jumpers do?

Re: PCB Build - Progress - Post your Pics here :-)

Had a productive day. Missing the floppy cable and a 7402 and the Blitter (oh and the reset switch). Also need a RAM card. Other than that it's pretty much done. I haven't inspected my soldering. I can already see problems. I had soooo much flux goo that I had to clean it with IPA. So I'll go throug...
