Re: Noob building a TF534

Who is using copy option nowadays? It takes too long.. Just using WinImage 9.0c, to create and restore 8GB drive images in 5 min... I use win32diskimager for making and restoring disk images, but I have to copy the files to the directories when making a new fresh install image. I dont rely on other...

The IDE to SD card adapter arrived yesterday. I cloned the harddisk image from the CF to an SDcard and it boots and is faster, and measures 2 MB/s when benchmarking, but for some reason a lot of games complain that kick34005.a500 isn't valid, even though it's the same as on the CF. I tried copying ...

Re: Stuff and Things.

I like Digikey, they always amaze me how fast they get orders to me. I can order something in the UK the same time and at worst the digikey is a day after and sometimes a good while before.

Re: ZX Spectrum 48K Refurb

@PaulJ_2.0 can you post pics etc if you do the keyboard upgrade please. I'm slowly building a harlequin board and have a case and rubber keys but the membrane has gone. For sure. This is what the replacement looks like. I'm still mulling over doing one for myself as I'm sure I could do a better job...

Re: ZX Spectrum 48K Refurb

Oh I am not into the collectable side of things. I buy things that interest me. I purchased a blue keyboard cover, because I liked the look of it. It's quite simple to change it to original black if desired. The keyboard rubber is not what I wanted to change, I wanted to change the membrane for some...
