Re: exxos 3D soldering machine build

Can't you just use the 3D printer nozzle itself as the iron tip?

Re: exxos 3D soldering machine build

That's insanely cheap for a 3d printer, I might buy one just to have it as a backup.

Re: CPU speeds... and why Amiga will never "come back"

Yes, I was having this conversation with someone about FPGA being the future. I was explaining that FPGA would probably top out at around 3-400MHz at current tech, which is nowhere near fast enough to compete with the likes of the PiStorm or Buffee. He seems to think that FPGA can do much faster spe...

Re: PiStorm Chat

Yeah the £15 price was realistic when the CPLD were £5 each. Now you are lucky to get them under £15. You could always try the aliexpress lottery. I doubt that would end fun for a single item purchase though. In my experience with them, you can order ten and get anywhere between 10 and 2 working. It...

Re: Compilation of bugs in Vampire Standalone V4

For me the Vampires are a bit like modern built reproductions of classic 60s sports cars. They dont have the production volumes to be reliable, the development of them is hand to mouth, the refinement is poor and there isnt much nostalgia because they arent the original thing. And since they're not...

The fact you brought that pin into play made it a prime candidate :)
I went to test it being shorted under the scope and it was loose.

Easy to miss when it wasnt used and an easy fix.

Thanks for the help :)

Re: TF1260 New Firmware Alpha Released!

Before getting too much deeper into things try the things Gadget suggested with PSU connectors. I'm using a Meanwell modded PSU and a Heavy standard PSU. My connections are always clean and well maintained, so I know it's not that. It may well be a power issue though, I wouldn't rule it out. I may ...

Re: TF1260 New Firmware Alpha Released!

You can send back to me to test that way we can eliminate either the Card or your A1200 It's fine, I can troubleshoot the issue have spare cplds and ram. It's probably not the card as I have had issues with firmware revisions on the TF1230 too on this 2B. I will plug away, but thanks for the offer.
