[pics] 4,700 AXIAL CAP REPLACEMENT

A few more pics from this evening - managed to find some time to do atari stuff :) This is the cap replacement kit for the big cap that lives on FM and STe boards (though interestingly, not on MEGAs, it's a different shape on those) Again, dont be put off by the fact it needs soldering, a methodical...

[pics] 1.62/2.06 switcher build

Hi All, some new pics on building up the STe switcher, just to show how easy it is, in case anyone is putting off ordering one due to soldering worries :) pics were taken with a 'go pro' cheap knockoff I'm experimenting with, so not the best quality, but there are better pics I did on another build ...

Re: Floppy header pinout - loose pin

Well, this is 'on hold' for now as i dun fucked up. Looking closley at the WD chip I noticed one of the pins was broken off at the chip, not sure when it happened, but I have a spare, so I desoldered it by snipping the pins then heating the stubs and lifting them off, like usual, but for some reason...

I'll spend more time checking at the weekend I think, when I have more time. spent most of this e...
