Re: Which tos for the TF530 on a stf?

Hi,

its a 512kbyte rom, it Starts at E00000 like the TOS 2.06 and yes we would need a 030 board with roms and a decoder to decode the addressrange!

Re: Which tos for the TF530 on a stf?

The 32bit wide Tos3.06 for the PAK3/-030 should also work, just a pcb is needed and the ST should get an extra boost! Just on board TOS for the Vectors is needed.

Re: POWER CONNECTORS

I think it would be important to have an connector with more then 2 ground pins, thats to less for some extentions. The connector from the PSU would be better and more save to get a stable ground to extentions

Re: Project: HDMI/DVI out for STFM

Did someone check the ground ? Check how stable the ground against the ground on the PSU directly is ? We found very often a lot of mistakes with the ground. For example when the ground is not stable enough then the logic pulls the ground high and when the level of the ground signal goes over a spec...

Re: exxos IDE interface (untested)

We use a xilinx cpld and rout all data lines through this but you need a large one. Maybe you can use a simple AND or a OR gate to compine Addresslines to save in/outputs of the cpld!

Re: exxos IDE interface (untested)

but 2 pairs of bus drivers on it, one pair in byte swapped mode and one pair in non swapped mode. Then you can switch between this both pair depend on what happens on the bus. If its a command access then use the non swapped pair and if its a data transfer then swap it (works in thunder and soon in ...

Re: DiagROM for ST

We are still working on the Vampire V4 on ST and there is still a issue what we cant find. So maybe your great DiagRom could help to find the reason why it will not start. OK yes its also an idea to use the serial line out!
