Just for your information, i have today installed Cloudy on top of Lightning ST on my H4,
connected the LightningST's ROM2 wire to U2, pin 6 and after remembering that an ST
needs its RAM to boot, i got my H4 booting off the HDD as desired.
Nice stuff!

Re: H4 What Has Been Tested
MIDI was tested by me, with a keyboard on input and a Yamaha synth on the output using Notator. Would going online with a NetUSBee prove the RW Line of the ROM Port? Thanks btl. Will update the MIDI part in the table. For the Cartridge RW nothing can test that at the moment. It's a new feature on t...

Re: TF for the Atari ST?
Hi all,
Sorry for digging up this one, I just finished building my H4 STFM remake board and i am looking
for an accellerator and fastram upgrade. Is the TF534 still the best option, or is something better
coming up in 2020?
Greets,
btl

Re: will it compute? btl's attempt to build the H4
I think i had that working on my MegaSTE, and yes, it would never have worked on the STFM.
I'll connect 2nd Floppy to the rear port, then.
My Case Idea is taking shape, and 2 Floppy drives are a key feature.
Greetings,
Stefan

My 2nd drive is not on the rear port, i connected both on the same internal cable. Should work, too?

Re: will it compute? btl's attempt to build the H4
You write of the ID select jumpers? If so, no, with a straight cable no difference, but now i found a flipped cable (PC style) Now i get a bit different experience Drive A (straight connected, ID0 jumpered) works, as long no disk is inserted to drive B (flipped connected, jumpered D1 (tried D0, too)...

Re: will it compute? btl's attempt to build the H4
I tried to use two Epson SMD-380 (ST 720k drives) on the H4:
both work when the only drive, no matter if jumpered ID0 or ID1
as soon both are connected, no access to disk possible
jumpers are set as in build guide.
