Re: A little bit of 8 Bit: 65XE upgrade to 128k RAM
On 130XE too ? :?: Yes. Currently only 64 KB base memory is checked. For testing extended memory several utilities are availible. Ok, I own any TMS4164-15NL, are they compatible with the first bank (42164-15) ? They work fine! Otherwise, I check Battlezone (5200) with 64k only (and MMU), there are ...

Re: A little bit of 8 Bit: 65XE upgrade to 128k RAM
Hello everybody! i found this great thread about 65XE ram upgrade, but just discovered mine has a 130XE(64x4) motherboard with unpopulated U11, U12 and U35: since aren't more available on ebay the C25953, is there a way to program a GAL for replacing it? It´s not so easy to expand this XE mainboard...

Re: A little bit of 8 Bit: 65XE upgrade to 128k RAM
Hi, Sorry to resurrect an old post but I'm curious on which 65XE motherboard this expansion works? I'm particularly puzzled by the connection between GAL pin 7 (PB6) and PIA pin 16 (PB6) as on my mother board that PIA pin isn't connected to anything. So what is that connection supposed to do? I just...

Re: A little bit of 8 Bit: 65XE upgrade to 128k RAM
Hi, sorry beeing late to the party. I read you already fixed the problem ;) As another update - well it wasn't the +5v that was causing the problem. It was the Mitsumi 56-3217 keyboard mylar that apparently decided it had enough of being pulled in and out of the slot. The joys of working with >30 ye...

Wanted: DELA Epromdisk firmware and software
Hi! I got this expansion, a "DELA Romdisk" for the Atari ST - unfortunately without Eproms. Some investigations shows me, that the both Eproms on the top (2x 27256) contains the controlling software and "driver" for drive "c" (little C), and the other 8 sockets can be f...

Re: WANTED COSMOSEX
Hi Jookie, currently I'm not making devices as I'm somehow burned out from everything I did in the last few years... I'm considering to leave the making of devices to someone else, and the schematics and pcbs will be public soon. More info later. Real life, family and health ALWAYS first! Please tak...

Re: LIQUID RETROBRIGHT TEST ON MOUSE
Hi, Top part of the mouse socked in liquid peroxide. Left in sun light all day. I have this Retrobright stuff since years on my "to do" list, but never tried until now. Question: Do you leave the mouse all the time IN the fluid? And did you try it also with bigger parts? I saw ready-to-use...
