Re: TF1260 Firmware Update ... er Update?
really nice numbers. trying to find good 50MHz numbers for B1260, Bppc and apollo to compare.. hard to find. :) I've got both a BPPC/040 and B1240. and a couple of rev5 060's i'd been toying with the idea of a CPU swap on those boards. but with the potential for newer kit on the horizon, i'd kinda ...

Re: End of all TF (Amiga) projects
i'm really sorry to hear that it's gone this way. seems to be the curse of amiga-land. one of the hydra's heads eats her own babies. however. i think one of the terriblefire legacies is that it's shown us that now, we CAN do it. It IS possible. I for one am now learning to solder, and have a couple ...

Re: 68060 sources
would that be an FPGA board that plugs into an 040/060 socket? - like the ReAgnus but for the CPU, as that'd be an amazing market. then anything, warp engines, cyberstorms, blizzards, even an A3640 would be able to get in on this. soldered previous CPU dependent of course. both my 040 equipped blizz...

Hey all, i run SMB-mount, there is a mui and a non-mui version:- http://aminet.net/package/comm/net/SMBMounter you don't need the full samba client install, just smb-filesystem:- http://aminet.net/package/comm/tcp/smbfs-68k runs with genesis and roadshow IP stacks. it's solid enough for me to leave ...

Re: Terriblefire in 2020
heh, well, i appreciate it either way. anything to make the A3k scsi not as slow as the A4k IDE is very welcome. this is all great news it is interesting seeing you guys put these boards together and hearing about the little tweaks and seeing challenges you've faced along the way. i've learnt a lot ...

not wishing to de-rail the topic, but is this public knowledge? the matze A3k/4k accelerators? i would be very interested, but i've drawn a bit of a blank in my search!

Re: My Channel
Great stuff! i was on target to do a CPL myself a few years ago, but i did the extended CAA medical test, as it turned out my vision - despite being 20/20 definition, had a hint of red/green colour blindness, and would limit me to only being insured to fly Cargo. i know passengers are "self loa...

Re: CD32 + FMV with A riser
Someone was kind enough to send me this on another forum when i was digging for info on the FMV card. it's pretty interesting, a presentation by the main engineer on the FMV stuff, starting with the CDTV which should have been a prototype for the CDTV-CR, instead of the CDTV being released and the C...
