Re: TT030 C302406-001 REV H

While we're at the topic of TT, I also need U203 component which is crystal oscillator. It seems to be nearly impossible to acquire 32.215905MHz version, but my local electronic shop has 32.256MHz flavors in stock. Any opinions about it? Is difference too much for TT to handle?

Re: TT030 C302406-001 REV H

Mine (REV.C - PGA model, C301763-001 REV A): Thanks! According to https://coil32.net/online-calculators/inductor-color-code-calculator.html "LD01" seems to be 10uH coil. They indeed look like caps: https://www.partco.fi/en/electronic-components/passives/coils/axial-inductors/12970-kelap-10u.html :c...

On my TT Rev.H it seems to be brown-black-black-gold.
But I can´t read what is written underneath.
Thanks! This confirms that I can still trust my eyes  It's quite hard to be sure about colors if picture is not focused on the subject.

Re: TT030 C302406-001 REV H

Yeah, you happened to run into one of the mysteries. It's marked as LD01 on the silkscreen. However, it does not appear in the schematic. I should know as I've painstakingly re-created it in KiCad. It appears to be part of the TT ECL Video Subsystem. Components here get a letter "D" added after the...

Re: TT030 C302406-001 REV H

My eyes are pretty tired after I tried to figure out what is that quite big light green resistor located at near PSU connector and c120 capacitator   Is that 10ohm resistor? I'll soon try to bring life to TT that has some components missing and that resistor is one of them.

Re: FALCON 14MB ST-RAM SIMM ADAPTER

Even if top shielding is missing there's outer shielding area that just about touches edge of the memory adapter. I also found it out hard way, fortunately nothing was damaged. Just add little bit of insulation even if you're missing top shielding.

Re: Agranlunds TF534 Build

That's true, China is getting worse, have bought 20x FPUs -none of them is working. some of the chips have pin1 mark on the left corner - that's crazy... 20190928_160944.jpg I have recently bought 68060 rev.6 and 68882 from China and they're genuine working chips. I guess I'm lucky, but I also sele...

TF is mostly working on his 060 based board at the moment. So maybe best not to distract him to much ;)
This sounds great 8-) It's ok for me to skip 030 TF ST version and go straight to 060 version for ST support

Re: True discussion MegaSTE vs MEGA with Pak68 et al

There is MSTE booster in development... https://www.exxoshost.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=71&t=555 TF is doing 030 stuff, I'm doing 68000 stuff.. lots of work is going on with boosters, just we also have lives and bills to pay so work is always slow. Interesting! I have only seen Amiga specific ver...
